Terms of Service

All estimates are based on the information you provide about your move (inventory list, addresses, access, services requested). Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions on move day, including but not limited to: changes to inventory, stairs, elevators, long carries, packing requirements, waiting time, travel time, parking conditions, tolls, and any additional services requested at the time of move.

Some moves may require a deposit to reserve your move date. Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled move may forfeit the deposit. Same-day cancellations after the crew has been dispatched may be charged a trip fee.

Payment is due in full upon completion of the move unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit, and other agreed-upon methods. Failure to pay may result in collection action and additional fees.

Customers are responsible for: providing accurate inventory and address information; ensuring legal and safe parking at both locations; disclosing any items requiring special handling; and being present (or providing an authorized representative) at both pickup and delivery.

All claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 9 months of delivery. Standard liability is provided per industry-standard valuation. Full-value protection may be available for an additional fee — please request details before your move.

Move For Less is not liable for damage to items not packed by our crews, items of extraordinary value not disclosed in advance, mechanical or electronic items where no external damage is visible, perishables, plants, hazardous materials, or items damaged due to pre-existing weakness or poor construction.

Move For Less reserves the right to delay or reschedule a move due to severe weather, hurricanes, flooding, road closures, or other conditions that present a safety risk to our crews or your belongings. We will work with you to reschedule as quickly as possible.
